The Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce, established in 1979, is an influential and active participant in the Farmers Branch business community.
2010 Program of Work

A dedicated group of board members, volunteers, and staff are committed to serving the residents and businesses of the affluent city. Over 350 members are working to identify and implement programs that will assist in the steady and balanced economic growth of business, industry, and tourism.

Farmers Branch is an important part of the high-tech area of Dallas County. It is a premier commercial, financial, and trading center with a broad diversified economic base. Farmers Branch is a key component to the economy as it is home to 86 corporate headquarters, 41 Fortune 500 corporations, and more than 2,600 small and mid-size firms.

Organized networking opportunities for Chamber members include monthly luncheons, networking meetings, and receptions showcasing members' goods and services. Members can participate in Leadership Farmers Branch, a year-long program that meets on a monthly basis to offer leadership training and in-depth information about the Farmers Branch community. In addition, the Membership Directory and Primetime Business Expo are ways to instantly become part of the Farmers Branch community of businesses.
