Purpose

1) To develop programs that help retain businesses and enhance visibility; 2) to attract new businesses and enhance the opportunity for all businesses to succeed in Farmers Branch.

Business Climate

More than 34 Fortune 500 companies and 80 corporate headquarters are in Farmers Branch. Farmers Branch is also home to 20 international-based businesses. The daytime population of the city is 90,000 as commuters stream into the city's multiple high-rise office buildings and industrial parks.

Business Seminars

The Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce has offered multiple business seminars and business expos over the years.

Economic Census

The Census Bureau has launched a new website, www.business.census.gov, to help businesses understand the economic census and how it benefits them. The site includes snapshots of selected industries and significant facts about every industry.
