Purpose

To increase and expand communications and working relationships between businesses and educational communities through school/business partnerships.

Applause Card
Our Chambers of Commerce and area businesses have joined together to provide school employees with a program that says, "Thank you very much for educating our young people.  You are very important!"  Each C-FB ISD employee will receive a card to present to participating businesses in order to receive the offered discount or incentive

Honor Card
Area Chambers of Commerce and area businesses have established this program to show support for students as they excel in their educational pursuits.  Area businesses are pleased to provide students with discounts and incentives to show their support for their excellent grades in school.  Look at which area schools are participating in this great program!

IBM Grant
Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation is the proud recipient of a $5,000 grant from IBM to be the Title Sponsor of Education. These funds go to support Youth Leadership Farmers Branch.

Student Essay Contest
All students attending the Student Recognition Luncheon are invited to participate in our annual essay contest with prizes given to the winner and 4 finalists.

Youth Leadership Farmers Branch
Youth Leadership Farmers Branch is an 8 month leadership program for twenty-three juniors from R. L. Turner High School and Early College High School.  The students learn about City facilities and leadership principles, as well as, culminates in a day long trip to Austin, TX to see state government in action.
